I was suggesting adding whipping cream or yogurt to the Esbilac in place of the HMGF. I thought you were trying to wean them off the goats milk portion of the formula.

Ok then in that case I'm lost. You are suggesting that I add yogurt or cream to esbilac. I already am! I believe I said my next step was to remove the fresh goats milk which would be the last step of the wean...thus leaving them with esbilac with yogurt and heavy cream. What have I missed?

Sorry, yes, I get what you’re saying about the formula. I was under the impression you were removing the whole GMF from the recipe, not just the goats milk. I was a little slow there, duh! I don’t know what to tell you except I can’t believe the goats milk makes that much of a difference to them and their systems.

Oh thank God Mel! I read and read and then re-read our conversation trying to understand. I fell asleep re-reading last night.

So, an overall update...sucking is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. The snuffle nips are being used, the rodent block is being ignored, I have them at a full 10% every almost 4 hours (depends on how long it takes me to feed the littles). Pee and poop is fantastically perfect. I think I'm going to hang out here for a day and then we will start reducing the goats milk but maintain the yogurt and hwc.

I mean I know I missed 2 years of babies, please tell me they haven't changed this much and these 3 are just little freaks. Please tell me that!

Thank you EVERYONE for your suggestions and ideas. I kind of feel like a fool stressing over something like this...but it got increasingly worse as we moved more towards the ESB and it struck me as odd.
