I know what you mean - I just emailed my question. She didn't ask me where I was located or anything like that....

Hey guys, just wanted to update. So I gave lil Icky the first dose at about 6:50pm my time, and it's now 8:25. At 7:30pm while we were playing (she was extra hyper from being abnormally cooped up in her coop all day) I did notice a little less urine already. While there was still a miniscule drop here and there, about a half ago (about 7:50) she ate a a whole raspberry without dripping my hand at all. I do remember that UTI meds tend to work really fast when it comes to pain and the feeling of urgancy and stuff, but I didn't think it'd be that fast already.
So I'm happy to report that my hyper and happy spinning in circles squirrel may already be feeling relief. As far as phyical features go, I did notice she was just a bit swollen in her private area enough so that I noticed the difference, and it's slightly pink. I'm wondering if all this is from her being in heat even though she's only 9 months old. And something else weird I noticed, she appearantly has been leaving behind single little poops. Not sure the reason for that .
None the less I'd like to thank everyone for their help here. In case things don't keep going uphill, I did find a vet who will see squirrels and I have an appointment booked for a week from now if needed.

Glad to hear things are going better for Icky. This could be related to her heat cycle....it could be a combination of the two. Id continue the meds for a total of 5 days at least.

    RE-update:
So I was too hopefull I think. She is tinkling just as much as before. I'm guessing when it seemed to be working it was because she didn't have anything left in her bladder -__-. I do have a vet appointment reserved for next Thursday. Her little area is a little bit swollen and kinda pink. I've still been giving her the antibiotics every 12 hours and trying to get her to eat yogurt. She's leaving urine drops like every minute it seems. So long as the antibiotics don't hurt in case it is just 'heat' related, I'll keep doing it.
