Small patch or growth developing....

Hey all...hope you're safe! So my squirrel doesn't so much have a bald spot, but when he lays down a certain way his fur parts...like a cowlick. Now, this small patch has developed a tuft of new hair. or at least I hope this is only a tuft. This look safe? Thanks much!!!!

Yup - fur is growing back. In large bald areas they will get these little circles all over that get bigger and bigger until they join up and no more bald patch. One of the things I have found most fascinating about these guys is the way their hair grows because it defies logic!
