Default New User: Outdoor Squirrel w/broken tail

    Hi all!
I have been adopted by Mrs. Squirrel. She's been visiting for almost a year now. She seems very happy, energetic and has a good appetite. As you can see something aweful happened to her tail and it's practically broken in half. The wound has healed nicely - no inflamation as far as I can tell. Should I intervene in any way? or just her live her natural squirrel life the best she can?
I've only started giving her and all her squirrel family food recently since the weather is turning, and I am afraid her life expectancy is shortened due to her injury

I have a wild momma squirrel that took a fall and injured her back and tail.

With time she got over her back injuries and Eventually she chewed her tail off at the injury. She felt bad til she got it off. She's 100 percent now and easy to pick out of a crowd.

    They are tough little critters!
