Default Normal Growth Rate for Flyer

Hi All! I'm wondering if there's anything out there showing a target weight for a youngster at different ages. Acorn is a Southern flyer and is approximately 10 weeks old. He currently weights in at 56 grams. I've searched and found ranges for adult flyers from 45-82 grams. I'm not sure if he should be that heavy at this age and want to be sure I'm not setting him up for obesity or health issues! He is on Fox Valley formula every 5 hours and also has Mazuri rat blocks that he recently started eating. No veggies, treats or other foods in his diet yet.

I just love that last pic.

You can definitely start introducing veggies, mushrooms and mealworms. You will probably see the interest in formula decrease soon. As long as he will take it, I would continue to offer formula. Some adult flyers love formula and will lap it from a bowl.

I have a 10 year old flyer that has never weighed above 56g. He is a tiny boy so he is on the lower adult range. He is perfectly lean and proportioned like he should be. My 8 year old another story. He is an obese, rollie pollie ball of fat. I haven’t weighted him recently but he could easily weigh near 100g. Poor guy. He loves his food.

Thank you both so much for the input! I'll start getting him some veggies and see how he does Good to know he's not totally off base to be this size at his age. He's certainly active and agile so hopefully that will keep him nice and trim
