    Default baby squirrel: head/spinal/nerve trauma

This 6 week old baby fell from a tree and it is too late to treat him with steroids. He does not seem to be in pain, he is loving eating and sleeping and getting belly rubs. His front legs are not all that strong, they drag behind him, back legs are better but not normal by any means. There is definitely some grip when he's on my hand and he can prop himself up on his front legs. I think he's definitely trying! I don't think this baby is going to be releasable, what are my next steps? I'm afraid if I take him anywhere, they will have to euthanize, all I am getting is that this is irreversible. Please help, I think he deserves to live as long as he has the will to!

What makes you say it is too late to treat with steroids... have steroids been given without success?

What are you feeding him and how often? How much dies he weigh? How long has he been under your care?

Can you post pictures, that would help a lot.
