    Default Is sleep jerking normal?

I was watching my neighbors baby squirrel and it seems to jerk a bit when sleeping, as if dreaming or ? Is that normal?

Yes it is likely that they are dreaming about something where they are running.

Many scientists believe that dreams are, in part, a practice state where difficult situations are rehearsed.

Yup, just like dogs run in their sleep. They're dreaming little squirrel dreams
