Default Poor Wild Boy needs a forever home in the Midwest

Looking for a foster or permanent home for this sad boy. He has been grounded due to an old injury and unable to climb a tree. Responding well to mange treatment and has already been looked at by a wildlife professional and deemed non-releasable. Located near the Michigan/Indiana border and can be transported to a caring home in nearby states or through a railroad. Do you have a warm and kind forever home for this little guy who has suffered so much?

The animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older than ours, they move finished and complete, gifted with senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren; they are not underlings; they are other nations… ~Henry Beston, The Outermost House, 1928
