It could be a UTI. I see you’re located in Florida. I am also in FL just south of Cocoa Beach on the east coast. If I’m close to you I’d be happy to help with antibiotics if they’re needed. Also, we have one of the best squirrel vets in the country located in Port Orange, FL if you need vet assistance.

Absolutely. Let’s see what the other folks on here think about treating your girl. The meds I have on hand are: Clavamox 250mg, Baytril 22.7mg, Clindamycin 150mg and Doxycycline 100mg (exp. 9/20). If medication is required we will need a weight on your girl.

Thank you for all your help!!!!!
I will keep you updated on her progress.
This little girl is so very very special to me. She just does not want to leave . Her sibling come to visit as well as the the other I have raised . She just wants me .
Are UTI's something i have to be concerned with her getting.
Is the type of litter that she uses something i have to worry about like a cat?
    Thanks again
please everyone stay safe and healthy !!

I can help with dosing but I wanted to throw out a possibility. Is it possible she is in heat? They do the straining/squatting thing when in heat. Of course, treating might be safer than assuming she is in heat.
