    Default Eating issues

3 days ago I rescued 3 baby squirrels out of a tree that was cut down. We tried to find mommy and waited for her to come and she never did so now I have them. They are probably about 3 1/2 weeks from what I have seen. I've been feeding them, day 1 and 2 they didn't eat much, last night and today they've eaten more but still not as much as recommended. I'm worried that they aren't eating enough. They are pooping and peeing, they are extremely active and chatty. I weighed them yesterday and we have 62g, 68g and 70g, today they are 62g, 66g, and 70g so now I'm even more concerned. What do I do to get them to eat more?

to TSB! Thank you for caring for these babies... a few questions to help us help you...

What formula are you feeding them, how often and how much per feeding?

The local rehab center said to get puppy milk from petco. They eat different amounts anything from 1ml to 4 ml... Yesterday and the day before they ate mostly 1ml to 2ml, last night into today its closer to 3ml sometimes 4ml

I try to average every 3-4 hours, sometimes less if I hear them being restless and squirming. The smallest of the 3 will start crying once in a while and she's already ready to eat when she does.

    Thanks for helping these babies...

What puppy formula are you using exactly?

This is what's recommended until the proper formula can be obtained.
