Default Plano, TX 75023 Needs rehabber for injured fallen squirrel.

Hey y'all, a friend of mine in Plano, TX has a full grown female squirrel that needs help. She said the squirrel fell onto the pavement and was dragging herself in the front yard. She has the squirrel in a box with blankie and keeping it warm and is "perky". Is there anyone that can point me or her in the direction of a rehabber? She is having no luck with local numbers.

With rear leg paralysis a squirrels best option is a course of Prednisone to reduce any swelling and
any possible swelling with or around the spinal column. The sooner treatment is started after initial
injury the better the chances are of them regaining mobility or partial mobility.

asweetdiversion - Starting treatment asap and give this baby a fighting chance is likely going to be
faster then waiting to make contact with a rehabilitator.
