Hi Can you give us some background info as to have you had this rabbit for awhile or is this a new intake? Was it attacked by a dog, cat ect: Are there any visible signs of injury? any info along these lines with be very helpful.
Keep checking the board I am sure one of the rehabbers who have had experience with rabbits will help or get you in touch with someone that can help. He or she looks so precious !!!

Have you called any local rehabbers?
Bunny’s frighten easily and can even have heart attacks and die as a result. The box you have her in will not contain her if she decides to try to get out and she may injure herself further. Do you have an animal carrier or large plastic bin? You would need to drill several 1/2 inch diameter holes in the lid so it could be secured close. She needs to be kept covered in a dark quiet place.
It looks like she’s an adult. Have you offered any food or water. Obviously they eat grass, hay, rabbit pellets. I’m sure carrots are not a healthy diet, but I’m sure a small piece wouldn’t hurt her.
I’ve reached out to a member that is familiar with bunnies and asked that she take a look at the thread.
If you can find a rehabber that specializes in cotton tails it will have a slim chance of recovery. Adult bunnies are very hard to get to recover. If they go without eating stasis sets in because they have to be digesting something.
I’m very sorry to say that euthanasia may be the kindest thing you can do for this baby.
*Could admin send poster an email asking her to come back on to check her thread?
I just sent LuckyIsHisName an email asking them to please come back on the board.
I also moved this thread to the emergency section and included the link in the email.
Thank you Mel.
I just heard back.
Here, in part, is the email
"Hi this is her boyfriends email but Jackie found someone in Gloucester to help with the bunny.
Unfortunately it had to be put down.
It couldn't be helped that really sucks.
I'm not sure why but it had to do with the rear legs were cold and dead."

Thank you, Nancy for relaying this. I feared that would be the outcome.
