Default Liquid glucosamine chondroitin ok for squirrels?

I just found out that my friend uses liquid glucosamine chondroitin for her dogs arthritis. Vet prescribed that. She looked it up and it says it’s ok to use on rats. Does anyone here know if it is safe to use for squirrels. I have geriatric squirrels here that have arthritis. I thought this could help as long as it’s safe.

I have read wonderful stuff about this with rats, and when I had a horse, it was something used by EVERYONE with good results. So yes, I would absolutely try it.

See if you can get your hands on a glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM blend. The MSM is a natural anti-inflammatory, so while the glucosamine and chondroitin work to actually reverse some of the damage from the arthritis, the MSM actually begins to make it feel better.
