Default Are orange teeth a problem

His teeth are very very orange. I thought it was the sweet potatoes but I've taken them out of his diet for now and it appears they're growing in orange from the gum line

No, you would not want to do anything to change the color of his teeth. The orange is normal and healthy.

White squirrel teeth are weak, unhealthy and a sign that something is wrong. Nice orange teeth are healthy and strong!

The coloring is caused by their enamel which includes a pigment that consists of the mineral iron.
This pigment is what causes the orange color. The iron in it gives the teeth a tougher and firmer
texture that enables the back of the tooth to grind down into a chisel type form that helps with gnawing.
