Its been a year and our squirrel is now grown up. When it was a baby we were told female but now we think its a male. Would it be appropriate to post photo of genitals. There is no testicals or balls so we dont know. Thank you

A males genital is about where one would think belly button,
The females is between her legs. Females do have a slight
"protrusion" which sometimes gets them confused for males.
Males have the ability to keep/draw their testicles up into the
body cavity (until needed) with the scrotum not prevalent at
this time. But when they drop... there's no denying male!
Yes, you can post a picture of squirrel anything.

Show a pic. Was this a wild squirrel? Males are fairly often castrated in the nest...have seen this several times

I grew up hunting and it wasn’t uncommon to get young male squirrels that had seemingly been castrated. We were always told the Mother did it but others have claimed Males do it.
