Will not climb on tree limb in cage.......suggestions??
So, Rocky has graduated from his rather small aquarium to a 6ft cage with a tree branch and perches in it. I got him OCT 25th, I am guessing he was about a week old. He is very active, runs, jumps and has just now started exploring on his own, which he never really is, since mom is quick to see where he went.
So, put him in his new cage today, he explored all over, seems to love it, however, he climbs the wire and not the branch. I took a branch from the Sweet Gum tree he will be living in come spring. Is this normal and will he eventually climb it? I tried putting him on the limb but he quickly got off, ran up the wire.
