Ok I have a 5 year old female we got from some people who tore down a old deck years ago and shes been a great part of our family, but here back in Sept. got a call someone cut down a tree and destroyed a flyer nest and had taken the babies and didnt know what to do with them so we stepped in and took them, both did great but female ended up with AP and was touch and go for a couple of days but she rebounded with treatment and shes doing GREAT!!
Got them a new double decker cage, cut down a whole tree and made them their own jungle. LOL But I really don't want to commit them to a cage their whole life, So talked to Henrys Pets who helped with the AP and she said they weren't old enough and needed to winter. So we have them for Wintering but I have never raised two to be released.
I haven't put them with PIPPY because she seems to take real offense to them and stamps her feet and shakes so I wanted to take no risk trying to see what they would do together so they just get to see each other through the bars.
I have seen where people here do know how to do the correct release and want them in groups so didn't know if we might should try to find someone who has a young group that might be best to put these with and have them winter together and bond so that in the spring they are a family that has already bonded.
Please give me some feedback on what would be best for them. I don't mind the money have already got them the new cage, just got another 3 bags of Blocks from henrys and 1000 live meal worms and new pouch of formula so good to go!
Ive attached a couple pictures the real close up is of my baby girl PIPPY whose 5.
Thanks so much!
