Default My boys are growing up...

As with children, I expect my flyer boy’s appetite is changing. I once had two of the three eating super mealworms...now I’m down to one. Their intake of veggies has heightened, and last night all 3 had a nice meal of boiled chicken thigh pieces. I think a lot of times people hear a suggested diet and try to apply it...however I’m with most confidence that diets change, traits are different...and some are just plain picky. My boys look awesome and are supper healthy, so I’m staying with my regime...jus having to alter a little.

That sounds about normal. They will eat it one day and reject it the next.
I don’t feed super worms. Those things are vial. I have heard that the head must be removed so they won’t bite them.
Well... I won’t be doing that so no super worms here. 🤨

I feed them tail end first and the boys make pretty quick work of them. When feeding meal worms to reptiles you “have” to pinch the heads because...ewww...they can eat their way out of the stomach of the reptile 🤦*♂️Omg...ewww

It’s fact, reptiles don’t always effectively kill the meal worm and their stomach acids are slow...so yes, they can find their way back out unfortunately.
