I've got amox and cephalexin on hand. Just need dosage he weighs 44grams he's eating and pooing normal just lethargic and I hear the clicking. I'm unable to get to a vet until morning.

What is the strength/mg. of the meds you have on hand.
Ideally, we treat with Cipro (human ab.) or Baytril (animal ab.)
    Augmenting (Human) or Clavamox (Animal)
Call around to family and friends to see if they have
    just 1 pill, that's all you'll need.

What type of squirrel is this?
Most vets won't treat wildlife. Unless you personally know this
vet, you may be risking confiscation and possible euthanasia of
    this little one.

I was drawing a complete blank which ab would be better.
I reached out to a member for guidance, and she said the
Cephalexin would be a better choice. (Thank you HRT4SQRLS)
I sent dosing instructions in a pm for Cephalexin 50mg.
Please try to find one of the drugs mentioned above.
Cipro or Baytril or Augmentin or Clavamox are the best choices.

I went with the Amoxicillin, as Wild Mammal Babies: 48 hours references Amoxicillin for respiratory, and the other drug for genitourinary and bone infections.
Would you stack both of these drugs in this case, Nancy?

    You could.
My preference of Cephalexin over Amoxicillin is entirely anecdotal. From my observations I have seen almost no positive outcomes with Amoxicillin and aspiration pneumonia.

I see the poster mentioned a vet so maybe that was an option.
