    Default Potential Dwarfism in baby

    Hi guys
My rehab got a huge transport of babies up from the coast Sunday night that were displaced by the hurricane.
Varied ages and sizes, but one sticks out like a sore thumb for its size.
Based on his external appearance determinations, I believe him to be between 7-8 weeks old. Fluffy. Eyes appear to have been open awhile etc. but he is TINY. My nose to rump measure is about 4-4.5” and he weighs 34g. I will attach a photo of him next to a baby that I know is around 6 weeks because he has been in residence since before his eyes opened. He is clearly bigger.
Are there any benchmark ways to tell if he will be special needs?

I am no expert on this topic but it seems possible to me this is a dwarf. What a cutie.

I believe the dwarf experts here on TSB usually request head-on pictures and pictures from the back of the head as well.. I think part of their assessment has to do with the placement of the ears? :dunno for sure.

Wow, cute as a button. I’m not a expert on these little guys either. From the first pic I would have said no but the second pic sure looks like a possibility.

Can’t wait to hear what the experts think. Precious baby.

Aaaaak! That sure looks like a dwarf baby to me. Does he need a home? Four could use a friend!
