I am near Fort Meade. I live in Hanover. I'm hoping to start the process to get certified cause I have a feeling since my back yard is a forest I may be rehabbing little baby furries a lot and want to make sure that I have the correct training and experience to take care of them. Thank you.

So the process is that you have to put in 200 hours and 2 years with a Master Rehabitator to get licensed in Maryland.

Thank you! I’ve applied to volunteer at Friskys sanctuary and hopeful I will be able to find a vet through working there. If I’m lucky and do a good job maybe the owner will sponsor me . I’ve also signed up for the MWRA conference and membership so that should be a good start for networking with local regabbers!
