Default Kitten People - I Need Help!!

I captured a kitten (about 7 wks old) in my backyard while its other three siblings ran off, but this kitten just hunkered down by my fence due to lack of energy...... thats when I saw wounds on its back with maggots in all the wounds.

    Question:
Should I just flush the wound with Capstar or flush the wounds and give Capstar orally? - I'm concerned due to the kittens young age.

*I have no weight yet as I just found the kitten and it is filled with fear and spit fire that leaves it wanting to scratch the hell out me and I dont blame it. ♡

    Thx for any help.

    The website says this:

CapstarŪ is an oral tablet for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens 4 weeks of age and older and 2 pounds of body weight or greater.

Another place said it could be fatal for newborn kittens.

Wouldn’t it be safe to use topically???

Edit... I just reread. You said 7 weeks.

I give a small dose orally to my raccoons, squirrels and possums then flush with the Capstar. Any remaining maggots can be wiped away and/or picked out with tweezers. I have never lost a baby doing it this way.
