Are you supplementing with calcium since you suspect MBD?
If not, get yourself a bottle of Tums - one of the fruit flavored tablets is best. Once you have them, come back and tell us which ones you got so we can tell you how much to give per day. Likely you will have to mix with water and syringe feed.
You will be trying to get 250-300mg of calcium per day into him. You want to break that up into multiple doses per day, not just one or two big ones. Make sure he is staying hydrated. Keep him warm and quiet...

I got about 200mgs of Henrys calcium powder into her yesterday. She is not eating today.
I moved her into a smaller container that is warmed. I don't know how to get anything into her
she will not eat. I have never force fed her.
First, I would get some sugar into her fast. If you have some syrup - pancake, corn syrup or the like, just put a couple drops in her mouth with a syringe. She doesn't have to swallow it to absorb the sugar. Then I would start hydrating her. Warm it up and put a few drops in her mouth every few minutes. Put a very small amount of sugar in some water - it should just barely be sweet and use that or a commercial pedialyte mixture. If you can get fluids and some sugar into her, she may perk up a little. It takes very little time for teeny things like this to crash from not eating.
Great..Thank you
I have pure maple syrup or should I just use sugar water
using molasses.
I have messaged her and advised molasses and to try to get fluids in her until we could possibly figure out what more could be going on

She will drink the slightly sweet water on her own from the syringe.
I wish she would eat something.
Give it time. Get her hydration and blood sugar up.

I will. She seems weak and uncomfortable.
Yeah, I bet. I am hoping that this will help get her to the point where she will eat a little. She can have infant ibuprophen to help with the pain from the MBD but I wouldn't give her that until she is fully hydrated and has consumed food... Do continue with the calcium doses.
Critter has had the very unwelcome dab of molasses, about 3 to 4 ml of the slightly sweetened water, maybe 100 mg of calcium.
she is bedded down for the night. I will wake her before I go to bed and give her more water and calcium. She has not eaten.
I really don't know what is wrong. She does not seem worse but she doesn't seem any better. This is killing me.
Have you ever seen the movie "AS Good As It Gets" the part when Jack Nickelson says "Its a dog, Its just a dog"
Thank you for helping me.
I need help...Critter has one slightly bulging eye, it has been sense birth. she hurt it.
I think that is what is wrong. We need help

Where are you located? Perhaps someone here can help you with a vet.
She is on her way to me with the Chipmonk. I am planning on doing an exam to see if we are missing anything, and then she will be off to one of our vets. I will post a status once I know what is going on.
I was told it was MBD, which is why I had sent her here, but it appears that this isn't the case now.
