How old are these babies??

Hi,

Two babies fell from a tree in my parents backyard and they aren’t sure what to feed them as they are at a pretty odd age. Would they be weaned yet? Both of their eyes are open, they’re just sleeping in the pic.

I think they look 7-8 weeks old. They would still be nursing. I would give them formula... powdered puppy Esbilac with probiotics and prebiotics. It can be purchased at pet retailers. Have they looked for a rehabber?

When they are this age they are usually pretty squirrelly (scared).
They would resist formula at first but will LOVE it when they get it figured out. I usually wrap them in fleece to feed and cover the eyes with a corner of the fleece. What they can't see isn't nearly as scary.

I forgot the obvious... did they try to reunite with mom?

It’s possible something happened to mom and that’s why they ventured out. I would check for other babies.
