Default Pinkies in need of help

    Hello!
I have a friend whose friend found baby squirrels "scattered in the yard". I told them to leave the babies outside in a box for mama to come back if she's still alive.*
If she doesn't though, I don't have experience with such young babies and need to find someone experienced in my area. Anyone know anyone?

Although I did find a really good rehabber, he will not drive to meet her tonight. It will be a miracle if these tiny bits survive. They need TSBs best prayers...

Halokakana, you can get them through the night till the rehabber can get them tomorrow. Keep them on a heating pad set on low under the container they’re in.....a plastic bin. Lots of blankets or fleece to burrow in. Give them pedialyte or slightly sweetened water every couple of hours, unfortunately through the night. If you have formula you could also offer a diluted version providing they are hydrated and warm. Those two things must be first. All of the basics you do with an older squirrel you do with these guys....just more frequently. Don’t forget to stimulate them before and after a feeding.

You can do this till the rehabber can get them tomorrow.

    Yayyy thank you thank you
I am so glad it worked out and he didn't try to do it himself. Thank you so much Sammysmom and I'm sorry it took me a while to get back to you earlier, I have 4 baby squirrels of my own over here who eat like horses
