Default Possible mange in my 2 year old eastern grey

My little fur baby, GG, I believed to get into something that stuck to her head yesterday. She has done this before and I figured it was dried fruit like other times. Although today I saw that it caused the hair to fall off as I was trying to clean it off with warm water. Now she has a bald spot in between her eyes on her head which is not unusually red or irritated, just her skin color. Her energy has been the same and this is the only place that she has a bald spot. I don’t know how mange originally starts out looking before the hair falls off. I just want to be safe. To add, she is an indoor squirrel, kept within the confines of 2 rooms. I am nervous it’s may be mange since we started using the leash for walks outside in another place last week

I would keep an eye on it and see if fur grows back. Mange usually starts with a sort of "crispy" edge on ears and I would expect that the skin might be reddish and irritated looking. If she has gotten into something in the past, it is quite likely that it has happened again.

when they try to chew their way through something, especially if they bite at cage bars they wear the fur off a little patch on the bridge of the nose
