Default Excessive sneezing. Deep sleeping. Possibly not eating.

So tonight when I went to feed my darling he did not come out of his bed immediately. I had to get him out of the bed and play with him to get him to wake up. He normally comes straight to food. Once we were playing he began sneezing, whi ch he normally does a time or so a day, but this time it’s one after another. He also went straight back to bed when I put him back in his cage. How concerned should I be? Is he sick? How do I know? I won’t be able to contact a vet until tomorrow. Please help.

I think you will have to wait and see. Watch for nasal discharge and listen for breathing issues.

How old is your friend? We always consider teeth issues if it's an older squirrel.

If he's congested you may want to take him in the bathroom with a hot shower running, and just let him breathe in some steamy air.

Sebastian is just over a year old. How do I know if he has teeth issues? This is my first time with one thy can’t be released, so I’m still learning. His nose is also wet. I thought that was odd. He’s more active this morning, so I’m less concerned but I’d be in a real pickle if he ended up sick.

We can help you find a vet if needed. What is the closest city to you?

Oh! I’m in a town called Cragford in Alabama. I’m in the middle of nowhere.

I doubt it is a teeth issue if he is one year old. You would be able to see obvious signs of malocclusion. Makes sure the bottom incisors aren't too long. If they overgrow they can puncture the roof of the mouth. That definitely causes respiratory-like issues because the sinuses are right above the palate.
If there are no signs of palate puncture you can rule out teeth.
