    Default Two babyboys

I have two new baby boys. Any ideas that are safe in marking them to know which is which? They look identical..

I use a different color magic marker and mark the fur/skin of the inside of one of their rear legs. I then keep a chart with the same color dot heading for each one and document the time fed, how much they ate and whether they peed/pooped, as well as any unusual incidents, like snorting formula, loose bowels etc. It helps me follow their progress and be alert for a problem.

The marker wears off so I usually have to reapply it. I’ve never had a problem from marking them this way.

I also used marker but as they grow fur it wears off quickly so it helps to find other identifying marks in their new fur. When I marked I always did top of head or ear so they couldn't lick it off.

You can trim the hair at the end of one of their tails so that it is squared off...
