Smile New here just found baby squirrel

Hello, I'm Dan from Michigan just found a baby squirrel outside (crawling around in the parking lot don't want it get ran over). I think the eyes are just opening. I gave it about 2 cc of bottle water with a syringe. Here is a pic I took in the box that is half sitting on a heating pad. I'll open another thread asking about some help soon.

Thanks, I'll check that link out. This guy is very tiny it has to be 1 or 2 weeks old. I did read and follow everything here https://www.wikihow.com/Raise-a-Baby-Squirrel .

I have not seen that page before but a few quick notes...

Best way to warm the pedialyte or formula is not the microwave... too chancy that it gets too hot or has overheated pockets of fluid. Use a glass of very warm water, your tap probably gets hot enough. Place a full syringe in to the water for a few moments. If you have a coffee cup warmer that works too.

Never give pedialyte for extended periods (24 hours) as it will cause problems. If additional hydration is needed after 24 hours, use plain water. The baby should be well hydrated and getting formula by the end of the first 24 hours.
