Question Are baby squirrels prone to allergens ?

As this is the season for ragweed and other air born allergens that affect humans as well as cats and dogs does it like wise affect squirrels ?
i have two 7 week old females (Honey and Willow) who i am letting play on my screen porch for 1 hour at a time 2-3 times a day . they have begone to sneeze every now and again. could it be allergies? if so is Benadryl an option and how much?

Baby squirrels just seem to sneeze some and snort. I have 4 and they seem to be snorting all the time.
I wouldn't worry about it. I would not medicate for this. If the sneezes are accompanied by obvious respiratory distress, that's a different story.

I'm sure all animals can be subject to allergens but I still wouldn't treat. It probably has more to do with the syringe, nipple and formula that we use. It not natural but it's the best we have. I doubt that mama squirrel would put up with some of that aggressive sucking that they do for us.
