    Default Aren't Almonds Blood Thinners?

Hello, all! I have a question. I have been reading on here about how almonds are supposed to help with seizures. But aren't almonds bad for squirrels because they are known blood thinners? So wouldn't that be bad if your squirrel became ill and had to have a blood sample taken?

Almonds do have a bit of Vitamin E in them, which will thin the blood. And humans on blood thinning medications are advised to avoid almonds... on the flip side, almonds are the least unhealthy of the nuts for a squirrel. While at the same time nuts should be an occasional treat for a captive squirrel that might fall ill and need a blood test ran... I am not convinced that folks with seizures squirrels are giving tons of almonds....
