How many times a day do you feed your 4-5 week olds? I'm doing 5 or 6 but wanted to hear what others average. As always...many thanks.

After their eyes open I find that about 4 feedings per day is fine. That's when I start them on rodent block and raw almonds, and the occasional piece of fruit, so they have other foods besides the Esbilac in their tummies.
Right now, here in pinky land, only 4 feedings a day sounds like heaven......LOL!

LOL! Yes, I also go with 4, sometimes 5 or 6 if I have just gotten them and they are a little skinny. If they are big and healthy, 4 should be just fine.
SQUIRRELS RULE AND BUNNIES TOO!

If the eyes are closed, I do a minimum of five feedings per day...once eyes are open and solids are introduced, that goes down to four per day, then I go by weight for weaning after that unless the squirrel weans itself.
