I have several FWC licensed rehabbers in Hillsborough County I personally know that do squirrels, and overflow rehabbers in nearby Lake County. With pinkies this is a time sensitive situation if the raptor center does not have experience with pinkies and necessary supplies.

Jean, a very proactive sub-rehabber from Lake county has been Emailed the contact info for the OP and will be contacting her with rehabber references in Hillsborough County. Jean also has a lot of pinkies from blowdowns. I guess the storms in FL have been taking it's toll on the fall season litters.
Two down, eighteen to go -- one of my FB Friends is taking two

I contacted crazy4squirls she said that she’s taking two and someone else she knows is taking two. She also made it sound like a rehabber had already picked them up, but I haven’t gotten confirmation of that. I mentioned to her a couple of other TSB members that aren’t very active but maybe they could help. At this point I’m not sure if I should continue to pursue finding folks.
If anyone makes contact with Nancy, the contact person, and there is still a need to locate folks, would you please post here?
I just got confirmation that crazy4sqrls is now the contact person since the babies have been picked up. She will then coordinate with the rehabber that has them to get the babies out to others. Tina (crazy4sqrls) gave me the ok to post her number for anyone that needs it. It’s 727-809-0916.
A friend of mine picked up 17 from them yesterday. I am taking two and another friend is taking two but we need more volunteers for these babies. The rehabber that picked them up has about 30 to 40 babies and needs a hand, obviously. Please if you can take 2 it would help. Contact me and we can figure places to meet and transfer babies
Guys, when I saw this I just about flipped. I live just a few miles down the road from Brandon (Lithia). I actually grew up in Brandon.
Here's the deal. I can NOT take tiny, eye closed babies because of work. I am gone 10 hrs and can't take babies to work. No possibility. What I can do is take bigger, eye opened babies. They must be able to survive the 10 hr gap. I took 6 bigger Irma babies. If I can help in this way, I will.
Here's my second problem. My internet went down on Tuesday and of course, they couldn't come on MY DAY OFF today. They could come Sat, when I AM WORKING. My internet won't be fixed until next Tuesday. I would say call me but of course, my phone is down also. I am posting this from McDonalds having a delightful meal.
As it stands now I will be off the grid until Tues. I will pop in and check this thread when I'm at work tomorrow. Some will say, use your cell but I rarely use one and it's NOT WORKING EITHER. Technology
I am officially retiring in Dec and will no longer be controlled by the MAN.
I can't imagine what it will be like to control my own life. HRT... OUT!

I would love to help as well, but I have a 10 day trip planned for the first week of October, driving from FL to Massachusetts. I’m not sure how I’d care for them.
Just received a message and all the babies have been placed
