Verify Meloxicam dose please

We just got home and I’ve found Snickers in a bad way. She has apparently had break through seizure(s?) as evidenced by her scrape over her left eye and swelling on the left side of her head and face . She is quiet but alert; but not herself at all. I tried to get her to eat but she just wants to get in her nest and sleep. I saw the discussions about Meloxicam and a dose of 1.0 mg/kg; she weighs approx. 500 g , so if this is he correct dose she would take 0.3 ml of a 1.5 mg/ml solution. Does this sound correct ? Or if there is still some differences in references , should I be safe and go with a more conservative dose?? I know she is in pain,

Dosage 0.1 mg/kg
Chart dosages are calculated at 0.2 mg/kg
According to chart:
Weight 500 grams - loading dose 0.10 ml

Just remember that the new edition of wmb has 1mg/KG and I verified it with irene ruth.

My vet suggests dosing at .5mg/kg...gives you wiggle room if needed.
It's very hard on the kidneys so being conservative is probably a good thing.

Thanks for these dosage ranges; I went with the lower dosage and she is still addled, but the swelling seems to be down.
