Non releaseable squirrel swollowed tip of nipple what do I do
I have a year old non releaseable squirrel. He is a neurological boy. He bit off and swollowed the tip of his mircle nipple last night. He did poop soft all night long. I got him to drink some iv fluids this morning and gave him some emeraid this am. What else can I do to get him through this.

Like one poster said search the area thoroughly. Can you post a photo showing the size of the nipple?
I can find you a vet if you like but you might have to travel.

It is less then 1/4" maybe an 1/8th. I am in Raleigh, NC. Do not have a pic

Is it a regular or mini Miracle Nipple? I will look for a squirrel friendly vet near you. I know of one in Hickory but have a contact at the NC Zoological Park that can refer near Raleigh.
Your squirrel will need a high resolution Xray with a handheld dental unit. Removal is non surgical with a small endoscopy unit under Iso.
