Hello I am posting for information on bilateral cataracts in a approx. 3-4 week old grey that eyes opened last week. Came in cold and dehydrated and fleas. Heat upon arrival, Lactated Ringers SQ initially, drop of Revolution for fleas. Anyone have any experience//information on this. This is my first time seeing this.

We have seen malnutrition/dehydration cause what appears to be cataracts - white/cloudiness over eye, which resolved itself when they got on the right diet. Obviusly they weren't actual cataracts - could this be what you are seeing?

Agree with the above -- 'cataracts' will often clear up as nutrition improves and the baby is fully hydrated.

Greys typically open their eyes at 5 weeks,
so the age of 3-4 weeks is probably wrong.
How long have you had him?
How much does this little one weigh, and
what formula are you feeding.
No more revolution for fleas, he's too young.

Could you post a picture? Is the entire eyeball cloudy and white or just the pupil area? My little girl Puddles had solid white pupils from the time her eyes opened as well.

Here is a picture of what her eyes looked like. The white in the center of her eye is not a reflection from the camera flash. I never found out what caused them to develop this way, but I would be interested to know if your little one is experiencing the same thing.

I had a little guy with what I was told were congenital cataracts. He looked like your little girl. I will say his nutrition before I got him was awful but I was told he had the white dots when the people found him at 5/6 weeks
