I’ve been combatting bloating in my baby for over 24 hours. I didn’t know what the cause was at first because most manuals mention bloating, but only mention overfeeding as the cause. I’ve been feeding him 5% of his body weight at each feeding, so that can’t be it. I’ve tried everything they say to do, skip a feeding and rehydrate, dip them in warm water, a massage, everything. I just read from henryspets.com that formula intolerance can cause bloating and will quickly kill them. Please help me, is it possible to save him at this point? I’ve been giving him watered down formula or pedialyte ever since I noticed the bloating to try to combat it, but so far it hasn’t made much a difference. As of right now, I’m going to try giving pedialyte every hour for 6 hours, then restarting him on the esbilac at a 3:1 ratio. Please let me know if this is the right thing to do. Thanks!
