    Default Malocclusion...

I have a 5 month old fox squirrel who has a top tooth growing straight back. I am experienced at trimming teeth but this is a tooth that I believe will need extraction. UNLESS... (my question): Might these possibly be baby teeth? He is a week shy of 5 months of age. Thank you!

I have an excellent vet in your immediate area that will put your squirrel safely under Isoflourine, properly diagnose the issue, and trim the incisors with a dremel. Do not do this yourself as you can spit the tooth to the root or cause them to continue growing improperly. I have been asked by admin not to post vet names or locations. I will PM you my home phone, you can call me and I will give you her info. Wonderful Vet!
