I was looking at the pictures and look in his right ear is there a small cut in the center of it?
Would not explain the heavy breathing but hoping it is not his teeth.

    Hugs to you all.

He paws his face because his sinus and air ways are full of mucus...
I'll have to teach him how to use a handkerchief....
    Poor little guy.
After washing off the blood--no wounds were found.

I wish you had found an injury on his face or head. If there are no external injuries than the blood must have come from his nose or mouth?

With odontomas it is moreover a given he has had a habit of chewing on a cage wire, that provokes odontomas to form.

Sorry I haven't followed along your thread of late; was he actually diagnosed with odontomas by x ray?
    Do you have baby benedryl?

It isn't uncommon for squirrels to get their teeth caught on a cage then pulling back their front incisors snap off. Yet they can also fracture their incisors further up inside of the socket.

To test to feel if one of his incisers are involved, apply a very light floating amount of pressure sideways just below the gumline of each tooth with your finger wet, to feel if there is any shifting of movement. Be sneaky, use a low soft voice soothing tone to your voice. If he flinches you will know that the tooth is likely painful and may be suspect for the source of bleeding. Check it again the next day to see if he flinches, to support whether it a matter of not wanting to be touched, or actually painful.

Poor Dude. Looks like he had some white tears lingering in his eye too. Wonder if his nose started bleeding and he groomed himself in an attempt to do something about it and that’s how it ended up around his eye.

I’m sure it was terrifying. Praying for all of you.

X-rays are not available in my area. The X-ray vet office uses injections to calm the squirrel and I won't allow that. They have ZERO experience with squirrels and my CREW will not be their "Test Dummies" .

That would be nice....The DUDE deserves to have a long, happy,"healthy" life. Lets hope I am wrong about the Odontoma problem...and he just gets stronger & stronger.

We will check his ears and mouth today...we don't want to stress him, so we spread out any thing that requires us to grab & hold him.

The DUDE is much better today---
His eye is still leaking / weeping... maybe from pain. We gave one more dose of Tramadol.
He is acting almost normal. Sunday will be even better.
