Hi there. Welcome and thanks for taking care of this baby! We would love to see a photo. How old is she exactly?

Hi Cava
I got her sept 1st on the brink of death. Eyes opened around the 5th, so Im guessing around....9-10 weeks I guess???? I suppose she could have been sliughtly delayed because of the whole fall out of a tree in a hurricane and almost starve to death thing.
Ill get you a more uptodate pic tomorrow afternoon. Shes healthy, and tail is full. She a good climber with a silly personality, able to jump pretty well now this week she started jumping on my back from the cage when i would turn around to fill the syringe. A bit too attached which is why Id rather her be with someone else, plus I live very urban with large squirrel group that I worry will bully her...and lots of outdoor cats
I have the list of Texas rehabbers, but would prefer possibly someone from this group that is known and trusted.
Can provide the rest of the big container of esbilac for future rescues, a couple augmentin 1g tabs, and a frozen bag of HHB high protein, a new benebac tube....AND a big pecan tree limb for an outdoor habitat.
Sept 6th after eyes opened:

She had her fist solid food Sept 14

Moved her to a big cage the 16th:
And this is her adorable self on the 21st
Please, if someone could connect me to a local rehabber who could soft release safely.... thank you!!

She is gorgeous! She's has a bit of time yet before release, but it's a great idea for you to start to look now for someone now. Continue to give her formula if she wants and offer her a block so she can transition onto solids if you haven't already. It will be easier for her and whomever takes her.
Keep checking back in. Hopefully someone near you will get back to you quickly. Great job, she looks very happy and healthy.

I know of a rehabber in Houston area. I sent a message out today, and hope to hear back from them this next week, as they aren't in on the weekends. Please contact me so I can help expedite this contact when I hear back from them. DF
