Default Help! 4 babies all sick.

I had 4 siblings brought to me, 3 girls and a boy. I would guess about 2 weeks, weight 36-44 grams, fur lightly on their backs, but bare belly. They were eating ok, but two developed clicking and "yawning" when trying to swallow. I started them on antibiotics (clavimox), but the little boy didnt make it. The next day, one of the little girls passed, and a third one can be heard clicking. I just gave her antibiotocs. They are in a cage, half on a heating pad, with plenty of soft cloth in the cage to burrow and snuggle in. The two that are still living dont seem to be doing well, but only one makes the clicking sound. I know pneumonia isnt contagious, but I dont know why they are getting sick one by one. I do give probiotics an hour or two after the antibiotic dose. They are peeing and pooping ok (although the sick girl has diarrhea), I give them a little honey water between feedings because their skin tents a little. Is there anything I should be doing for these babies that I am not doing??? I am so praying that they can regain their strength and be healthy. The two that passed started separating themselves from the others in the cage the day before they died, and I am so afraid the third little girl will start going off by herself. Please help- any advice or suggestions welcome.

did the finder who brought them to you give you any insight as to the circumstances surrounding their being found?

I'm wondering if there were any head injuries?

what have you been feeding them?

have you noticed whether they've aspirated formula?

if this were me I'd hydrate the one with diarrhea with the home hydration formula of sugar/salt/warm water. also dehydration makes medications act in unexpected ways. I'm worried the diarrhea is from the antibiotic.

They were found inside the engine compartment of an old truck that the owner was trying to start. When they discovered the babies they left the truck open 4 several hours and the mother never came back. They then box them up and located me the next day. I feed them esbilac with probiotics and I supplement that with goat milk, yogurt and heavy cream. A fairly watered-down mix but per the instructions on the esbilac

And they were aspirated prior to my custody, per the finder who tried to feed them the night before. She read online and got goatsmilk.

I would go to straight goatsmilk for now, no heavy cream or esbilac. Hydrate in between feedings every time. If they are clicking, Baytril is the go-to drug, still, for aspiration pneumonia and does not cause diarrhea the way Clavamox and Amoxi do., I am running to a meeting but those are my immediate thoughts -- sending prayers and healing energies for those poor littles!

I agree with IR about nixing especially the heavy cream. I always worry when I read hydrating with honey / sugar water after one time the person was using way too much sugar and that can also contribute to diarrhea.

Here is the general hydration formula:
    1 tsp salt (teaspoon)
    3 Tbsp sugar (tablespoon)
    1 quart warm water
Mix all ingredients in warm water. Store in refrigerator.

Per Nancy in New York for a prior baby of the same weight, .1 ml of 160/1 dilution. Twice a day.

What are you feeding the babies with? Sounds like these babies are in trouble.

Are you sure that it was not supposed to be .01ml

I have never dosed this way.
If this is from a pm, can you either post it here
or forward it to me? I am very precise when I dose
and I typically send a photo of a syringe with an arrow showing
    the exact amount.

Edit: I found the pm and posted it here.

Yes Nancy, that is exactly what I followed. These babies weighed the same amount, so I did not recalculate. The heaviest one is 44g, but not sick, and the others are 42, 42, and 36 (though two have passed)

I'm so sorry to hear of the other two passing.
I wonder if this could be bordatella. Do you have any Doxycycline?
How long have they been on Clavamox?
