    Looking for a rehabber in West Virginia for a single baby squirrel that still has closed eyes. Located in Harpers Ferry.

    She's a brand new member from WV. I know nothing about her
    other than she was rehabber in Florida for 20 years.

    You can also do a search on the board by putting in the key
    words West Virginia.

    I am picking up a baby from WV today. Don't know if it is the same one. Do you know if you have found anyone for this baby?

    To the best of my knowledge, WV does not have any type of formal wildlife rehabilitation license or program.....this will have to be a word-of-mouth kind of thing. Fingers crossed....

    What an amazing save and an amazing sequence of events!! At 5:30 a.m. I received a text from another TSB member asking if I or anyone can help this little"maggot infested" boy in WV. At 5:32 a.m. I forward that text to redwuff, asking if she could help? Her immediate response back to me was , "Sure, I'll go get him". The call to help this baby had gone out on FB, TSB and through texts from many squirrel peeps looking for someone in WV. It seemed that "a rehabber had been found" and yes ... in fact, that rehabber was found and that rehabber was redwuff. It does take a "village" but mostly it took a dedicated rehabilitator named redwuff, willing to drive to WV to save this baby Thank you redwuff for always being willing to answer the call to help a baby in need !

    You are correct ... WV has no Rehabilitation program at all. You can trap them, hunt them and kill them but don't dare try to help them ....it's against the law in WV. Come on WV figure this out!
