    Not silly at all.
You should be excited and proud, you're her momma.
You knew the vets advice was wrong, you came here
looking for help, and in the last 6 days, your little Tootsie
    has gained 35 grams!
Now that's something to be PROUD of!

So I am guessing she is going to start being more active now I never force her to be active. I figure she needs all that sleep to grow big and strong but when that head doesn't just fall over after eating and she is sniffing around with her nose in the air. I put her in a more flat container and let her do her thing. She is tired after about 2 minutes. And then it's back to the bed for her. I would imagine that is a long two minutes for her trying to get all her little muscle to do what she wants them to. I talk to her the whole time she loves to hear me talk I switch sides and she will turn around and come to my voice. I reach in and pet her so she knows I am right there with her. Is this okay for me to do its now to early for her to do this right? I only do it when she wants to move a little yesterday she did it at 10 and the 7. And today after her 10 feeding.

At this age they mostly sleep. Even after their eyes open, they aren't awake too much
through the day. What I've found is if they have a buddy, they are more active usually because
one always wants to play with the other.
Not to worry about her activity level now, she will quickly become "non stop" in a few more weeks.
    Then let the fun begin.

I too always talk to them, and pat their little bodies. I have mine right in the kitchen
where I normally am anyway, so everytime I go by their bin, I let them know I'm there.
Sort of like when Mom comes and goes, it's just reassuring to them I'm sure.

Just making sure I can let her try to walk around when she wants to for a few minutes... just want to make she she is about that age when it's normal for her to start being active or should I just try to put her straight to bed.

Nope you are doing everything exactly right.
If she wants to walk around, perfect, if she wants to go right to sleep
    that's also perfect.
We leave it up to them, they are all different.

Oh my goodnes, Tootsie is absolutely adorable! You have done such a wonderful job with her. She is blessed to have such an attentive mom.

Oh yes, they will steal your heart quickly and you will never be the same. I remember panicking the first time I saw my squirrel's teeth move! The Squirrel Board is a great place to learn and ask questions - not to mention getting to share your adorable little Tootsie. So glad you found us.
