You've only had her for 24 hours, correct?
I'm sorry what's her weight again? I will tell you how much of the gas drops after I know her weight.
Good news that her tummy isn't hard, keep an eye on that.

See if you can get Clavamox or Augmentin, OR Baytril or Cipro.
If that's from a cat she needs antibiotics NOW.
Which one should I get and how much. What should the doctor write on the prescription? Daisy weighs 28g and I have had her for 28 hours.

All you will need is one pill. All we would need is the mg/strength of the pill
and we can dose that for you.
If you have a doctor that will write a script,
I will post the pages from the WMB book and they can figure it out.
Let me look for them now.

    Here you go.

This is for Baytril (Animal antibiotic), but we use the same dosing for Cipro (Human antibiotic)

    I have this:
AUGMENTIN 875 (Augmentin 875 mg / 125 mg) ... Augmentin is used in the treatment of bacterial infection; urinary tract infection; sinusitis; bronchitis; skin or soft tissue infection (and more), and belongs to the drug class beta-lactamase inhibitors.

Perfect I will write this up and send you a pm.
This will take me a minute.
I will also include a photo of a syringe with an arrow showing
the exact amount to give her.

    Edit:
    Dosing sent.

    Daisy update:

She is stable. She is now on full strength formula (ebsilac with probiotics) and is peeing and pooping (poop is a little mushy but still resembling pellets and a greenish color). The belly is soft. She drank 1cc at her last feeding 8:45 am. Will weigh her this afternoon. Hoping for the best.

Thank you to everyone on this board for all your advice. I really appreciate it!

    Great update.
    Just watch the poop color.
    Hopefully that will clear quickly.
Any concerns, just let us know!
