    Default Cold Food

    Hey ya'll, I know that it is bad to feed a cold squirrel, but what about feeding squirrels cold food? We refrigerate all the veggies and food that we give Fester, but is it safe to feed him stuff that is straight from the fridge? We usually let it warm up a tad before feeding him but I just wanted to make sure.

    My guys get food straight from the fridge and I have never had a problem with it.

    I've read that on hot summer days, people have given squirrels HHB (block), right from the freezer. I never did this, but those that did say they loved them icy cold.

    That is definitely true. Squirrels even like ice.
