Default Some of this may seem redundant but by 7-week old has a sore bottom/diarrhea.

I've had a baby for about 4 weeks, found at 3 weeks when some tree work was done, I've raised and released a squirrel before (YEARS ago) and instincts kicked in when I found this guy.
He's now 7 weeks old. He's been on Ebsilac since the day I found him. I had used whole milk for a couple of weeks but discontinued when the diarrhea began. I currently offer him pedialite between feedings (4syringe feedings per day - 2 formula, 2 pedialite) and he still hasn't cleared up. Going to start the cereal and banana diet today... or yogurt... I've seen both recommended on here for diarrhea.

My question is what on Earth do I do about his sore bottom? It's obviously irritated. He's very active but when his bottom is touched he squeaks. Poor thing is sore as hell. Breaking my heart. Any pointers on any of this will be very helpful. Thank you! Name: IMG_9078.jpg

    HEAVY CREAM!!!!

I keep saying whole milk like my life depends on it. I have never given him whole milk, heavy cream only.

What is the Esbilac you are using powered or liquid?
If powered does it look like picture below?

Well there you go, bad / wrong formula! This is what is causing the diarrhea.
You need to get the correct formula pictured, hydrate this baby, get
him flushed out and start him on the correct formula 3 parts water to
1 part formula for a couple feedings then go to the correct mix of 2 parts
    water to 1 part formula.
You can apply a thin coat of neosporin or A&D ointment on his sore bottom
to help with the irritation that acid from diarrhea causes.

Just did. Stupid, STUPID!!!! I bought the other van in a rush to get nutrient in him and have been feeding him the wrong crap for 4 weeks!

Just bought the right stuff, donating the rest to a dog rescue.

    Thank you!

    Great!
I would not add any heavy cream to this formula at this point.
It would be counter productive to getting the diarrhea under control.
Make sure he is hydrated and offer extra hydration between feedings,
diarrhea pulls the fluid from them and aids in dehydration.
