Default Seis Bloated - Can't Poop

We do not know "how long" it has been since Seis's last bowel movement - but I have noticed
for at least { ? } 3 or 4 days that her tummy looked "fatter" She is eating normally.

Only today did it dawn on me to check her cage and play areas for droppings - None anywhere.
She is quite bloated and her tummy is taut to the touch.

Her vulva is still very swollen.......... it is now going on 6 to 7 weeks.
Could the swollen vulva be contributing to her constipation ? ? ? as her anus also looks swollen or puffy - I think.

She has only received "Ibuprofen" twice since we received the dosing info as she did not appear to be in much
distress. She was dosed this afternoon - prior to my realization that she had not moved her bowels in some time.

She 'seems' to be peeing OK.

Stosh took photos and will post soon.
He has gone to the Pharm to try to buy something like Simethicone ???

    Thanks for any help.
    Concerned she may be impacted.

    Hi stosh, Rama mama

To dose for simethacone or gas x in the states, the dose for sweet Seis would be 1.3ml or 1ml per pound. However, I tried looking up the other ingredient magaldrate and could not find it. I will look up what is in our gas x and get back to you. We have an adult squirrel that occasionally has major inability to pass stool. One thing that helps us a lot is something called lactalose. Basically it is a sugar water concoction. I bet there is homemade on line. I'll look for that too.

Sorry you are having such issues with your crew

The dosing for gas x (simethacone) is from Wild Mammal Babies and there is no strength given for the med. I noticed that your bottle has 200mg. I do not know how even they are Stosh.

I looked up lactalose on a human baby site and I found a lot of other things that mothers used for infant constipation, like flax seeds, prune juice, water melon juice etc.

Sorry I can't give you more definitive answers.

Small, hard and dark suggest dehydrated? Try giving her some apple juice or apple juice diluted with water.
