Default Dosing Info Needed Please, Most likely UTI

Little Girl, my almost 7 year old eastern grey, is showing signs of a UTI. Urine odor is VERY strong and she strains when urinating.

PROBLEM: my SMZ-TMP is very out of date. One bottle I have has been in fridge since 3/2013 and other bottle has been in cabinet since 4/2014. SMZ-TMP is DS 800-160 tab substituted for Bactrim. Is this too old to safely use? My squirrel weighs 1000 grams.

I can probably get in touch with a rehabber friend of mine and see if she has anything else that would work, but not sure it would be the same medication or that she would have enough to dose my big Little Girl.

That's pretty far out of date. I will dose for the ablets in a PM, but suggest that you see if you can find any Cipro (human) or Baytril (vet). If you can find that please come back and we will dose it for you. THe two meds can be used together.
