This is my little baby fox squirrel. I am estimating he is about 6-7 weeks? I have read so many different opinions on feeding.. and just wanna know a good schedule for my little guy. I have Fox Valley 20/50 formula and HHB's. My dad is a raccoon rehabber and says I should feed him formula twice a day and stick with more solids. Others say he should be getting formula multiple times a day and not fully weaned off formula until about 12-16 weeks? What would be a proper feeding schedule for this guy??

We recommend you allow them to take formula as long as they want and let them ween themselves.
Formula is their protection against mbd, block is the next. You will want him to be eating block and
eating it well before introducing other solid foods.

*That looks like a scab on the end of his penis, often happens from siblings suckling.
If it is a scab you need to soak it with warm water or use an ab ointment to loosen
    and remove it.

Are you keeping him in a cage? I saw a cardboard box and hope you aren't keeping him in that. Cardboard dehydrates them

I would venture to say 7-8 weeks but have not handled foxers and
know there is a size difference between them and greys so could be off.

There are other members that have foxers.
