    Hi all
    Sunny is worse this morning, he sounds a littlle congested and wont come out from under cage. also give a little back when I reach for him. im worried!!

    So, so far he isn't eating normally and now is congested, correct?

    What do you have available to you for antibiotics - not necessarily vet meds - I mean human antibiotics? You, your friends, family, etc. Best would be a drug named Augmentin, but sold under a number of names such as "clavamox" "amoxiclav"

    Second best would be Cipro, or ciprofloxacin. Ask women - it is used for urinary tract infections.

    Get a list of what you can get ahold of. You would only need ONE pill.

    He does live inside, right?

    This would not be the first choice - you need a few other things, so while you assemble them, keep looking for other meds.

    We will need an accurate weight on your squirrel, preferably in grams. YOU will need to have at least one 1cc or smaller syringe that you will use both for diluting and then dosing.

    Probiotics given at a different time of day from the meds are strongly suggested if you end up using this, too. Human probiotics can also be used, or from yogurt as well.

    Please give a concise description of everything that has happened since just before you began to notice a problem and stay on this thread for now.
